MY TOP 5 WATERFALLS IN ICELAND

What is up you guys my name is Alex. I'm a filmmaker and photographer from Iceland and in this video. I'm gonna show you guys my top five favorite waterfalls in Iceland now for the last year I've been working as a content creator for the biggest travel company in Iceland called guide to Iceland over the course of the year. I've had the amazing opportunity to travel all over Iceland and capture some amazing content from one of the most stunning spots that Iceland has to offer so since. I'm going all-in on this YouTube adventure. I thought I'd share with you guys. My fellow explorers my top five waterfalls here in Iceland starting with number five scorers Scopus. Waterfall is by far one of the most popular waterfalls in iceland. And at this point it's completely run over by tourist crowds and understandably why it's absolutely stunning. It's one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country and it's super accessible. It's right next to the highway that you used to drive around the whole country so you kinda can't miss it so therefore there are a lot of crowds but still nonetheless. It is number five on my list number four on my list. Is howie force waterfall which means high waterfall or tall waterfall. And it's called that because it has a hundred and twenty meter drop which is kind of amazing. It's the fourth tallest waterfall and Iceland takes about two hours drive from Reykjavik and you need a 4x4 to get there safely. This is number formalist because the drop is absolutely stunning and the waterfall itself just is absolutely visually beautiful and best of all there aren't gonna be that many people there you are most likely gonna be there all by yourself so moving on to number three this waterfall is called gleams glimmer is the second highest waterfall in Iceland with a drop of almost 200 meters. That's like two football fields just let that sink him. I've only been there once but at that time I hiked all around the waterfall and it was absolutely stunning the whole time.

I took some amazing pictures and the drop itself. The whole 200 meters was just crazy if you want to take some epic videos there. I highly recommend taking a drone. It's absolutely crazy beautiful to shoot them. It has gotten more popular over the years but still the area is so big that you really don't feel the other people that are visiting at the same time. It's so big that you barely see other people so it's definitely worth the visit guys number two of my list is this epic beach and it's called. Vignelli Daniel is way up in the West piers and it takes about four to six hour drive to get there so it's gonna take you some time if you want to check out this one as you can see. It's absolutely unique and so huge and absolutely a pleasure to look at. Daniel it holds a very special place in my heart because it was one of the first videos that I ever made that went proper viral and it was so enjoyable for me on a personal level to see so many people sharing a video that I shot of this waterfall. So therefore it's number two on my list now for number one on my list. It is threatening force waterfall now. I know some of you gonna be pretty disappointed because this is by far not the most stunning waterfall on the list. So bear with me. It's my favorite waterfall because I've been there so many times but each time it's like I've I'm seeing it for the first time which is kind of unique for a waterfall. Because when you've seen a waterfall that many times you usually get tired but in this case this is just my spot you can walk around the waterfall and you can go behind it and sit there and just relax and enjoy life and I think that's why I kind of liked it the most. It's that small spot behind the waterfall where I just sit relax think about life and enjoy myself so therefore it's my favorite waterfall. Well guys that's it for now. If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up or even better to subscribe to my channel if you disagree with my top 5 list and it's very likely that you do.
