Journal With Me: Guided Journaling for Beginners
Hello, my loves welcome back to Lavendaire. So it's been a while since I've done a journaling video. So today I thought I'd do a journaling for beginners video, where you can actually journal along with me in the video itself. So it's totally interactive. I'll share a prompt and I'll give you time to answer it later on. But before we start, let's reiterate why journaling is so important if you've been following Lavendaire, you know, that journaling is one of my favorite things to do. It's how I find my sense of self and find a sense of clarity in my thoughts and feelings and just in my life in general, journaling has a lot of mental health benefits. It helps you with anxiety, worry, overwhelm, stress. It just helps you sort through your feelings and come to a greater sense of understanding and maybe even peace. All in all, journaling is very therapeutic. It feels good to just let it out, express your emotions. And I find that at the end of each journaling session, my mood has improved. So I know a lot of you would like to start journaling or maybe you'd like to journal more and sometimes it's hard to make time for it, right? So that's what the series is about. This series is helping you make journaling a habit because in this video, I'm just going to give you a prompt and I'm going to make you do it right now. The key is to just get started, start writing anything. And if you do that consistently, then you'll build a habit of journaling. Today I'm going to share 3 fun prompts for you to journal to and give you 5 minutes per prompt. So that will be 15 minutes total. And these are prompts that I hand picked because I feel like any beginner could write to these prompts and yet they kind of ask you to elaborate. It's not just like a simple yes or no one sentence answer. It gives you more room to just write as much as you want. And by the way, I'm using the pastel notebooks from the Lavendaire Shop to journal. These are my favorite notebooks to journal to. I keep one on my desk at all times.
And without further ado, let's get into it. The first prompt, what was the best compliment you've ever received? And why was it so special? Alright. Great job. Now, here's the second prompt. What in your life do you have now that you used to dream of having in the past. I hope you liked that one. Here's the last prompt. What is something you would do big or small? If you knew you could not fail. You made it through today's 3 prompts. Comment down below if you gave this a try and feel free to share any of your favorite insights from today's journaling session. Also let me know if you liked this video and if you want me to continue this journaling series as well, I think it will help a lot of you stay consistent with your journaling practice. If I upload this maybe once a month, once every other week, I don't know. Let me know what you would like down below. Love you guys so much, and I will see you in the next one. Bye.
