Hello my name is. Constanza piraeus i am from section cheer and this is my journal entry for introduction to action research and academic writing unit first of all. I won't refer to my to my planning process based on my cycle play so my goals where the first one was to evaluate the role of exploratory action in terms of developing and informing teaching practice and the second was to apply appropriate writing strategies to write an action research report which was our task. Well honestly i think i was able to to achieve my establish goals because in the first one. I could accomplish it through different to reading different texts and about the topic and I could notice that when I read a new text I already knew why what the text was about. Because i had the previous references and previous knowledge from the texts that i read before so well. I in my for my second goal. I have the D evidence that is I mean my my evidence is the great of my task because I have a good grade and for me at least this is very significant and important because it shows my my progress and I think it I think it's the physical evidence that i have to prove how much i progressed. Well in terms of my commitments this this one's were the first one what was that. I I was going to read all the reading materials for the classes to be prepared for the discussions and the second was the second was about in practicing writing and in order to improve this skill well. I have to say that I read. Every single text were four classes and here. I have some evidence of this well I was concerned about highlighting main ideas and I wrote some notes I also wrote some definitions or synonyms of the words that I didn't know and well I think when you read you have to do it consciously and in order to understand better what you are reading so well according to what I wrote in my second commitment I have to say that I didn't try to summarize the texts that I that we read but what I did was I wrote some some of my own ideas and perspectives about the text that in these these ones are on my notebook but I don't have it here well in terms of language progress I strongly believe that I could progress a lot in writing because of the reason I mentioned before about my good grade and because we could practice this skill in many instances during english classes and about reading i already mentioned what i do in order to have a better understanding of the texts and these strategies are being very useful to me um well also i would like to add that my speaking skills i also progressed but i think that i need more confidence with the purpose of speaking without being afraid of making mistakes since this is the only way that I have to practice and improve this skill well I did.

I didn't have a feedback session. Let's say personally but I've received any by email and I could read all the comments that my teacher a date in order to improve my writing skills and of course that I have to improve it. And i have to say that. I thought that i was going to to be more that i was going to have more negative comments but i was very happy because it wasn't like this and I as I thought and I could demonstrate a bit of my prob therefore of course the feedback has a strong impact on my learning process since now I'm motivated to keep improving well now moving into another aspect in terms of some strategies that are that the teachers implement in their classes and I would like to to implement in mines in a future. I would say that sitting arrangement is very important because in most of the classes we made a circle in in order to be more involved in the class so in this is a so this is a strategy in terms of sitting arrangement that I would really like to implement in mind in the future well. I think that looking at each other and make a discussion with your classmates and the teacher looking at you is very good you feel part of it. I also think that working in groups is when discussing about some topics is very useful in terms of sharing ideas information and also because we we learn to be tolerant with others and at the same time we're learning from each other and I will really like to implement group work when teaching in and well basically that's that that is my reason and also because students are willing to participate more and they feel part of the discussions and they are.

They are involved in the learning process so this was my journal entry. I hope you enjoy it.
