How to find a journal indexed in scopus hello everyone welcome back to our Channel where we discuss everything related to Academia and research in today's video we'll be talking about how to find a journal that is indexed in scopus scopus is one of the most popular and reputable databases for academic research so having your work published in a scopus index Journal is a great achievement but how do you find out if a journal is indexed in scopus we'll be answering that question in this video so let's get started Step 1 go to scopus website the first step is to visit the scopus website you can simply type score bus in your preferred search engine and click on the first link alternatively you can use the linkscopus.com once you're on the scopus home page you'll see a search bar where you can enter the name of the journal you're interested in Step 2 search for the journal type in the name of the journal you want to check and click on the search icon scopus will display a list of results related to your search query make sure you select the correct Journal name from the list scopus indexes thousands of journals so it's important to be specific when searching for a particular Journal step 3 check the journal details once you've selected the journal you will be taken to the journal Details page here you can find information such as the journals issn publisher frequency subject areas and most importantly whether it is indexed in scopus or not you can find this information in the scopus coverage section where it will state indexed in scopus or not indexed in scopus step 4 check the scope as Source list if you're still not sure whether the journal is indexed in scopus or not you can also check the scope as Source list the scope as Source list is a comprehensive database of all the journals that are indexed in scopus you can access the scope as Source list by clicking on the sources link on the scopus home page and then selecting scopus sources from the drop down menu once you're on the scopus sources page you can search for the journal by name issn or subject area visit www.
